Located on Bicentennial Road, Katherine Speedway holds its season from around April to October each year.

The Speedway caters for a number of divisions and attracts drivers from Darwin, Tennant Creek and Kununurra. Local drivers take part in Burnouts, Racing Sprint Cars, Wingless Sprints, AMCA, NT Sedans, Junior Sedans, Street Stocks and Dirt Karts.
